    About Mark Igoe and John Howell

    Mark Igoe had a career in writing on adventure sports, ecology, history and travel, before moving to Africa and writing the first guidebook to Zimbabwe. For the last decade he has been working on European countries, principally France.

    John Howell established John Howell & Co. in Sheffield in 1979 and by 1997 it had become one of the largest and most respected law firms in the north of England, employing more than 100 lawyers.

    On moving to London in 1995, John Howell has gone on to specialize in providing legal advice to clients buying property abroad. He is co-author of several titles in the Buying a Property series.
